Arcalis at summer

It is one of the biggest winter sports areas in Andorra, located at Vallnord, very close to the french border in north and west direction. But what about summer? Arcalis at that time is a region for rambling, terrific sights near or far - and plants & water with "art designed just by nature".

This tour is one of the longest road trips in Andorra. Also by foot, or with a horse (approx 30 km, plus a height difference of more than 1 km). The tour can be done from Ordino, La Massana or Andorra City with many other highlights like the "iron route", or the "Vall de Sorteny" close to El Serrat, which has the nearest hotel locations for this area, 6 street-km away from Arcalis. Finally it leeds to the timberline at 2200 m plus 100-500 m higher, to the 3 Tristaina lakes, to the summit Pic d'Arcalis, or to the french border at Port de Rat.
